Continuing on our streak of updates, we’re proud announce to that we’ve remixed and remastered our 2021 release “age of obliteration” from the ground up.
This new version reflects better what we originally envisioned for this album. And to be perfectly transparent, Reid couldn’t sleep at night without fixing it.
The rerelease will be dropping next Friday, March 31st.
The old version will no longer be available on Spotify/Apple Music etc. however it will stay on Bandcamp for those had already purchased it.

We are sad to announce that Ryan Hunter will be departing Wasted Heretics. Reid will be taking up all guitar responsibilities for the album currently in production.

We are immensely grateful for Ryan’s contributions to the band. Without him the 2019 tour could not have gone as well as it did, and you can hear many of his musical contributions in “age of Obliteration”. Unfortunately life takes people in different directions and Ryan’s took a direction away from Wasted Heretics. He is an immensely talented musician and a good friend of all of ours. We wish him the best of luck with his current bands; detherous, and pythonic

Hello everyone, we hope you are doing well in the new year. Given that Carly is gone and we are currently without a drummer we wanted to take a moment for formally announce that we will be looking for a new drummer.

Being as we are spread across western Canada we are open to members from across Saskatchewan, Alberta, & BC. *with right person we would be willing to work with people in other provinces.

Applicants should be drive, capable of practicing & making new parts on their own prerogative. This is a situation where weekly jams just won’t be happening.

You should also be comfortable communicating and keeping up to date with everyone online. So if you struggle using texting or social media to talk then this may not be the right fit for you.

Finally while not fully necessary the ability to record yourself for the sake of sharing ideas would be a huge plus.

If anyone out there is interested, send us a DM with a bit about yourself; your location, favourite bands, current or previous bands you’ve played in. And if you have any videos playing covers or released material send it our way!

Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of our members being spread over long distances and lack of a drummer. there will be no release show.

With the excitement to our upcoming release, Age of Obliteration, there is also the unfortunate news that we will be losing Carly as our drummer. Life does what it does and sometimes paths take one down a different road, as is the case here. There are absolutely no hard feelings towards Carly and we all will miss having her with us. She made every song a blast to create and play, her talents and attitude are an amazing attribute to her character and we wish her the best on the path she now walks!
